Resource Helicopters was incorporated in November of 1997 and received our Operating Certificate and Canadian Transportation License in June of 1998.

The current fleet consists of one Bell 212, and two Bell 204C’s.

Our head office and maintenance facility is located in Langley, British Columbia at the Langley Airport. The personnel that manage Resource Helicopters Ltd. have always been closely associated with Fire Control, Oil and Gas support, Mining and Exploration, the Motion Picture Industry, Construction and Tourism. These areas along with general charter work are the focus of our business.

It is our commitment to provide a safe and economical service to our clients from the smallest to the largest contract. We understand and are committed to listen to the needs of our customers and respond immediately to see that those needs are addressed properly. As a smaller company we are able to provide hands on service to ensure customer satisfaction, and job completion while subscribing to the team concept.

All of Resource Helicopters pilots are qualified mountain pilots and receive recurrent training on emergency procedures as well as all aspects of operational flying annually. Written exams are completed each year by each pilot with respect to the flight characteristics, daily operational checks and company or government procedures on each type of helicopter. They are responsible to the Chief Pilot and the Director of Operations who insure flight safety and regulatory compliance.

Our maintenance engineer’s duties meet or exceed the requirements set by the manufacturer. The field engineers are monitored by the Director of Maintenance to ensure the procedures are strictly adhered to. To ensure onsite reliability complete histories of components and all inspections are tracked on computer sheets and monitored by the field engineers on a daily basis.
